My professional accounting career began over 20 years ago when my dad and brother asked me to apply my recently acquired accounting degree in our family business, a growing and successful automotive dealership. The first accounting job included many tasks that are the foundation of any successful business: customer service, cashiering, manually calculating repair orders; accurately preparing sales deals; making deposits; paying bills; sending out accounts receivable statements and completing bank reconciliations. From the beginning of my career I have put a premium on the highest customer service by proactively contacting customers to ensure that they are satisfied with the work completed. This attention to detail and to the customer is the hallmark of any successful business. My experience working in my family business was a life-changing event and provided me with the foundation to launch a career in accounting with my specialty in helping small business ensure they are in sound financial shape so they can grow.

Over the past 20 years I have held increasingly responsible small business accounting and bookkeeping positions where I continued to hone my expertise and expand my knowledge of financing, insurance and analyzing deals. As Office Manager, my scope of responsibility included hiring, training and supervision of professional staff, payroll, inventory and administering the computer system.
A few years later I became a controller of a multi-million dollar business and took over overseeing all facets of the accounting department, including financial statements, implementing accountability and quality improvement procedures and working with managers from the service department and body shop to the parts department and sales department to improve their bottom line.
In 2005, I moved to Florida to be closer to my family. Shortly thereafter the national financial crisis that impacted the automotive industry so severely afforded me an opportunity to start my own business, something I had planned on doing for many years. My business specializes in providing accounting outsource services and helping retail, wholesale, home repairs and nonprofit small business to grow utilizing the popular and easy-to-use QuickBooks software. I also have vast experience utilizing Reynolds & Reynolds, ADP and EDS software.
My mission now is to stand out among small business accountants by helping small businesses to grow through accurate accounting and sound organizational procedures. As I learned in our family business, personalized customer service and doing what's right is always my first priority.
